  1. Introduction

    Welcome to the AEF ISOBUS Database of the Agricultural Industry Electronic Foundation (“we/us”).

    We would like to use the information below to provide you with an overview about the scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process when you use the AEF ISOBUS Database.

    The AEF ISOBUS Database is a web-based application accessible via the Website https://www.aef-isobus-database.org/ or by use of the AEF ISOBUS Database mobile application providing access to information on ISOBUS compatibility of certain machines, implements, terminals and other components.

  3. Data Processing - Website Navigation

    1. Scope of data processing

      Each time you access our websites, i.e. even if you are not logged into your AEF ISOBUS Database Account or otherwise transmit information to us, our system au-tomatically records the following data and information from the computer system of the accessing system:

      • browser types and versions used
      • the operating system used by the accessing system
      • the website from which an accessing system arrives at our website (so-called referrer)
      • the sub-websites that are accessed via the accessing system on our website,
      • the date and time of access to the website
      • an abbreviated internet protocol address (anonymised IP address)
      • the Internet service provider of the accessing system
      • IP address

      The data are also stored in the log files of our system on servers in Germany to en-sure the functionality and security of our information technology systems. An analysis of the data or a storage of this data together with other personal data of the users does not take place in this context.

      The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.

    2. Legal basis and purpose of data processing

      The legal basis for the collection and temporary storage of the above-mentioned data is Section 25 (2) no. 2 German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (“TTDSG”) in conjunction with Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR. The processing of the data by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of the websites to the users' computers, to ensure the long-term viability of our information technology systems and website technology and to provide law enforcement authorities with the information neces-sary for criminal prosecution in case of a cyber-attack. These purposes are also our legitimate interests in data processing according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

    3. Right to Object

      The collection of data for the provision of the websites and the storage of the data in log files is necessary for the operation of the websites. Consequently, there is no possibility for users to object.

    3. Scope of data processing: Manufacturer Registration

      In order create a Manufacturer Account; we process the following personal data during registration:

      • Company Name

      • First Names

      • Country
      • Address (optional)
      • Phone Number (optional)
  5. Data Processing - Plugfest

    You may register for the annual Plugfests via your Account.

    If you register for the Plugfest, we may require further data from you, e.g. a billing address or information on catering (e.g. meat or vegetarian).

    The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6(1) (b) GDPR, in order to facilitate your participation in the Plugfest.

  6. Data Processing - Contact

    When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name, if applicable, and other contact data) is stored by us in or-der to answer your questions and to conduct any further necessary correspondence. We delete the data accruing in this context as soon as your enquiry has been con-clusively processed. This is the case when it can be assumed that your request has been comprehensively dealt with. If there are legal retention periods, the data will remain stored, but we will restrict the processing.

  7. Cookies

    In addition to the data mentioned in section 3, which your server transmits to us, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small files that are stored on a visitor's device (e.g. computer or smartphone).
    We only use technically necessary cookies.
    Technically necessary cookies help ensure that visitors can navigate the website by providing basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure website are-as. Without these cookies, the websites would not be able to work properly.

  8. Service providers

    We may engage third parties to act as our Processors according to Art. 4 no. 8 GDPR and perform certain tasks on our behalf, such as processing or storing data, including personal data, e.g. CYSTEP AG to forward invoices for partic-ipation in Plugfest. The service providers are obligated to handle personal data in compliance with Data Protection Law and according to our instructions. They are not allowed to use the personal data we share for their own purposes and must delete or return the personal data once they've fulfilled our request.

  9. PayPal

    We accept payments via PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg (PayPal).
    If you choose PayPal as your payment method, your data required for the payment process are automatically transmitted to PayPal. This processing usually includes the following data:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Billing Address
    • Email
    • IP address

    The data transmitted to PayPal may be transferred by PayPal to credit agencies. The purpose of this processing is to check your identity and creditworthiness. PayPal may also pass on your data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil contractual ob-ligations or if the data are to be processed on behalf of PayPal.

    The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6(1) (b) GDPR.

  10. Data storage period

    The data remain with us until you request us to delete them or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

  11. Your rights

    1. You have the following rights vis-à-vis us as the Controller in respect of the personal data relating to you if the legal requirements are met:

      • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
      • Right of rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
      • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
      • Right to restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
      • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
      • Right to revoke the declaration of consent under data protection law (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

      In accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1) (e) or (f) of the GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

      We as the Controller shall then no longer process personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

      We do not use automatic decision-making or profiling

    2. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
